WARD SPEAKERS

Every speaker is the result of meticulous attention to sonic detail, ensuring a clear and immersive sound image that honours the integrity of the original performance. Built with artisanal craftsmanship and a commitment to sustainability, our products reflect a deep respect for both form and function — delivering not just exceptional audio, but an enduring visual and tactile experience.

Ward Speakers started with a simple idea: that speakers should be made with the same care and intention as the music they play.

We’re a father-and-son team — Miles and Tristan Ward — blending two worlds: audio engineering and traditional craftsmanship. With a background in designing and building studio and live microphones for a renowned British brand, Miles brings years of experience in acoustical theory, quality control, and the kind of obsessive testing that most loudspeaker designers never get close to. That time in the microphone world taught them not just how to listen, but how to build tools for people who listen deeply.

Our Story
At Ward Speakers, we create high-performance loudspeakers with a relentless focus on sound image, craftsmanship, and design integrity.

Tristan, meanwhile, brings a lifetime of hands-on skill — from picture framing to carpentry to interior design — all rooted in a commitment to making things that last. His attention to detail in the manufacturing process and his dedication to longevity shape every part of what we build, from cabinet joints to finishing oils.
We’d both spent too long seeing beautifully designed products that sounded poor, or excellent-sounding gear hidden in uninspired boxes. And worse still, many of them were built on compromises — on materials, on supply chains, on what the designer really understood about sound. So we decided to build something better, right here in Dorset.
Ward Speakers is the result: no gimmicks, no shortcuts. Just carefully voiced systems using locally sourced components, hand-finished cabinets and precision engineering. Each piece we build is made to be lived with — not just for a season, but for decades.

The name Ward isn't a clever brand idea — it’s our surname. This is our family’s work, and it carries our name because we’re proud of what we make.
